Step One
Please complete the below application form and submit a programme application request, along with a short summary of what you are specifically seeking organic certification for. If you have a website set up already, a link to this will be useful to include as well.
- Please review the ‘AsureQuality Standard Terms of Business’ and ‘Terms of Business for the Provision of Certification’ here prior to signing your application form.
Step Two
Our Organics team will then review your Application Form and provide further information and documents for you to complete your application. The remaining documents you will need to complete and send through may include:
- An Organic Management Plan (OMP)
- OMP Appendix
- Map or layout plan of facility
- Affidavit for last prohibited input (if land is included in your organic certification)
- Residue Soil Testing Info & Submission form (if land is included in your organic certification)
Step Three
Once received the application information is reviewed by an auditor (called an Evaluation). The Evaluation usually takes 3-5 hours and attracts an hourly fee as outlined in our pricing.
Step Four
Once findings from the evaluation have been addressed an auditor will arrange to book an on site verification (audit) with you. A site verification audit is needed on at least an annual basis. Pricing will be confirmed by our Organics team once your application form has been reviewed (refer to step two).
Step Five
Once all of the above steps have been completed successfully, you will be issued a confirmation of your organic status.
