LabConnect sign-in is changing
AsureQuality is introducing a new secure sign-in service for LabConnect called the AsureQuality Identity Platform.
The change is part of a wider programme to give customers a simpler, more consistent and more secure way to access AsureQuality online services.
What will improve for LabConnect users?
One of the biggest improvements will be self-service password recovery. Today, if you forget your LabConnect password you may need to contact a support team and wait for it to be reset. With the new Identity Platform, you will be able to securely reset your own password.
The new sign-in experience will also provide:
• stronger account protection through multi-factor authentication (MFA);
• optional passkeys and passwordless sign-in;
• a more consistent sign-in experience as other AsureQuality services move to the same platform; and
• less reliance on different usernames and passwords across AQ services over time.
What will I need to do?
When LabConnect moves to the new platform, you will complete a short one-time setup. You will create a new password, set up MFA and save a recovery code. You will also have the option to create a passkey.
You will continue to use your normal LabConnect URL or bookmark.
Do I need to do anything now?
No. There is nothing you need to change today.
Before the transition date is confirmed, we are asking users to tell us about important business periods, technical restrictions and account arrangements we should consider.

We cannot guarantee that every requested blackout period can be avoided, but we will use the feedback to help plan the transition and support approach.
What happens next?
We will provide clear instructions before the change takes place, including a first-login guide, short videos and troubleshooting information. You can return to the Identity Platform section at any time for the latest information.
