AsureQuality is now offering IANZ-accredited air quality testing using the latest GB/T 16293:2025 and GB/T 16294:2025 methods, supporting infant formula manufacturers in meeting the requirements of GB Standard 23790:2023 (National food safety standard – Good manufacturing practice for formula foods for infants and young children) for the Chinese market.
If you currently use these tests, there is no change to how your samples are analysed or how your results are reported. Your existing test codes, reporting units and standard turnaround times remain the same.
What is changing?
From 2 November 2026, the method references will be updated from the 2010 versions to the 2025 versions.
The GB/T 16293:2025 and GB/T 16294:2025 standards also specify sampling methods that customers need to follow to support compliance with GB Standard 23790:2023.
