Keep your Microbiology testing running smoothly

We're updating selected Microbiology analysis codes to support more efficient laboratory workflows and maintain consistent testing and reporting.

The updates include selected Yeasts & Moulds, Coagulase Positive Staphylococci, Coliforms, Escherichia coli and Enterobacteriaceae analysis codes.

This update provides:

• More efficient laboratory workflows by supporting our transition to paperless laboratory processes.
• Simplified Yeasts & Moulds reporting through a single analysis code that allows you to request Yeast Count, Mould Count or combined Yeasts & Moulds Count.
• Consistent testing and reporting while maintaining compatibility with our laboratory systems.
• Continued confidence with no changes to analytical methods, method references or IANZ accreditation.

If you use any of the affected analysis codes, you'll need to transition to the new codes.

Testing methods remain the same. These updates relate to the way selected Microbiology analysis codes are managed within our laboratory systems and provide greater flexibility when requesting Yeasts & Moulds reporting.

• LabConnect templates.
• Interface systems.
• Internal quality documentation or procedures.
