What is the AsureQuality Identity Platform?

The AsureQuality Identity Platform is the secure sign-in service used to confirm who you are when you access participating AsureQuality online services.

Think of it as the sign-in layer in front of an online service. LabConnect remains LabConnect; the Identity Platform manages the secure sign-in step that gets you there.

Why is AsureQuality introducing it?

AsureQuality is progressively modernising the way customers sign in to our digital services. Moving services to a common identity platform allows us to provide stronger security features and a more consistent customer experience.

For customers, the main benefits are:

• secure self-service password recovery;
• stronger protection through MFA;
• optional passkeys and passwordless sign-in;
• fewer separate sign-in experiences as more AQ services move to the platform; and
• a more reliable, modern sign-in service.

Does this mean I can already use one login for every AsureQuality system?

Not yet. Services are moving to the Identity Platform progressively. As more services are connected, the experience will become increasingly consistent.

This is also different from using your own company's Microsoft or other corporate login to access AQ services. Business-to-business federation may be possible in the future, but it is not part of the current LabConnect migration.

Is Auth0 the same thing?

Auth0 is the technology used to provide the AsureQuality Identity Platform. In customer communications, we refer to the service as the AsureQuality Identity Platform because that describes the experience you use across AQ services.
