General Filter Behaviour
Filters follow two main behaviours: radio buttons for single selection and checkboxes for multiple selections.
Radio Buttons (Single Select)
- Radio buttons allow you to select only one option from a list. When you select one button, any previously selected option is deselected.
Example: Month/Quarter/Financial Year filters in Pro Performance require you to select one option at a time.
Checkboxes (Multiple Selections)
- Checkboxes allow you to select multiple options independently. Each checkbox functions on its own, so you may check or uncheck multiple boxes as needed.
- Example: The Site & Site Group filter uses checkboxes, so you can select multiple site groups and individual sites.
Time Period Filter
Pro Performance and Pro Details include time period filters on each page to help you target the data shown based on your needs.
In Pro Performance, the filters on each page are tailored to match the time scale of that view:
- Monthly View: Use the Month filter to view data for a selected month (e.g. May-2025).
- Quarterly View: Use the Quarter filter to view data for a selected quarter (e.g. Q1-2025).
- Yearly View: Use the Financial Year filter to review performance across an entire or ongoing financial year.
- The NC & NCP Details page features a flexible Year & Month filter, allowing the selection of specific years along with one or more months. This is useful for flexible extraction of granular data.
You will also find the Year & Month filter on each page of Pro Details.
Site & Site Group Filter
Use this filter to choose a site group—for example, a region. The available site groups depend on your organisation’s structure and can be customised if needed. When you select a site group, all sites within that group are automatically selected. To view the individual sites, click the drop-down arrow next to the group name. You can then select specific sites if desired. Any combination of sites and site groups can be selected using this filter.
Checklist & Checklist Group Filter
This filter works similarly to the Site & Site Group filter, allowing you to select data by checklist group or individual checklist questions within a group.
Visual Interactions
Certain visualisations also serve as interactive filters. Clicking on them will narrow down the other visualisations on the same page to the clicked item.
Example:
On the Pro Integrated > Outstanding page, clicking a header on any overdue level card will filter the view to show that specific overdue level.
Here we have selected Overdue > 7 Days:
The related visualisations have been filtered accordingly.
Additionally, we can filter further by selecting a site in the list:
When you select more than one Overdue Level, the report may show blank results. This happens because each site is assigned to only one Overdue Level, and there is no overlap between them.
Visual interactions can be easily discovered throughout AQ Intelligence. Click, explore, and see what they do!
How to read Applied Filters
You can always see your applied filters at the top of every page, under the breadcrumbs.
Filters selections can be cleared by clicking on the eraser button next to the filter itself.
Reset Filters button
On some pages with filters, a Reset Filters button is available in the bottom-right corner.
Clicking this will remove all applied filters and return the page to its default state.
