AsureQuality partners with Urgent Couriers to provide a same-day collection service for customers sending samples to our Auckland Food and Pharmaceutical Laboratory. This service covers Auckland, Hamilton, Te Kuiti, Matamata, Morrinsville, Rotorua, Tauranga, and Mount Maunganui, and operates every day, including weekends and public holidays by request.
If you would like to begin using this service, please contact our team and we will set up your access to our AsureQuality / Urgent Couriers booking portal.
If your location falls outside the regions listed, please contact us for assistance.
Courier charges are invoiced as part of your AsureQuality invoice.
Booking a collection
You can book a collection in three ways:
- Standing bookings for routine collections (i.e. every morning, five days per week) – please pre-book with our team on dispatchakl@asurequality.com. If you have a standing booking there's no need to request a collection each day. Only contact us if you need to change your booking or set up a new collection.
- On-request standard bookings – for collections that you request frequently, but want the flexibility of booking as required, use our AsureQuality / Urgent Couriers portal. - Ad-hoc requests – please contact us via dispatchakl@asurequality.com.
All sample packages must be affixed with a label which is available from the booking page.
Cut off times for same-day service
To book a same-day delivery please make sure you place your booking by the following cut off times.
- Auckland - 9.00am for a morning delivery, and 1.00pm for an afternoon delivery.
- Hamilton & Inner Waikato - 11.00am for same day delivery by 6:00pm
- Outer Waikato - 6:30am for same day delivery by 6:00pm
- Tauranga cut off - 9:00am for same day delivery by 6:00pm
Collection Hubs
If you are located outside the “urban” service area, you can deliver your sample to one of our AsureQuality Collection Hubs located at Te Rapa, Morrinsville, and Mt Maunganui.
Sample transportation to the laboratory
Your samples will be transported in ambient vehicles so any samples that are required to be chilled or frozen should be packaged accordingly. Your chilly bins will be collated and returned the following day.
Sustainability
Urgent Couriers is Toitu certified for sustainability and has been Carbon Neutral certified for 17 years.
On-site sampling services
Our laboratory technicians can provide independent on-site sampling services if required. Please contact our team to request this.
