Pesticide residue testing helps food producers, growers, manufacturers and exporters check that their products meet the Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) requirements of the markets in which they will be sold.
AsureQuality offers multi-residue pesticide testing designed around domestic and export market requirements. Our testing allows a wide range of pesticide residues to be screened in a single test, making it easier to select an appropriate testing suite for your products and intended markets.
What can we test for?
Our multi-residue testing provides broad coverage of pesticides commonly used in agricultural production, including:
- herbicides;
- fungicides;
- insecticides; and
- other pesticide residues relevant to food and agricultural products.
Testing is available for a wide range of applicable product and sample types.
Most applicable samples are tested using PS-MRGL15. Non-alcoholic beverages, including fruit and vegetable beverages, are tested using PS-MRGL13.
Choose the testing that suits your markets
Two standard testing suites are available.
Domestic
The Domestic suite is designed to support products supplied within New Zealand and Australia.
It includes pesticide residues relevant to New Zealand and Australian MRL requirements.
Export
The Export suite includes the Domestic suite plus additional pesticide residues relevant to key international markets, including:
- the European Union;
- Great Britain;
- China;
- Japan; and
- the United States.

Testing for specific residues
Standard suites provide broad pesticide coverage, but some products, programmes or markets may require testing for additional or specific residues.
TARGET variations are available where a residue of interest is not included in the standard Domestic or Export suite. Our team can review your testing requirements and confirm the available options.
