As part of our commitment to sustainability and to ensure we continue to meet regulatory standards for the disposal of hazardous substances, we're introducing a $25 disposal fee for customer samples classified as hazardous substances, effective 1 July 2026. 

The Environmental Protection Authority and WorkSafe regulations require strict handling, tracking, and certified disposal processes for hazardous materials, which significantly increase the time, equipment, and specialist services needed to manage these samples safely. Introducing this fee helps to ensure we continue to meet regulatory requirements while protecting the safety of our people and the environment.
